Pragya Nagra is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam films. She was born on December 14, 1998, in Ambala, Haryana, India, and comes from a Punjabi family. Before entering the entertainment industry, she completed her education in Delhi and was an active member of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), aspiring initially to join the military. However, her frequent visits to Chennai sparked an interest in acting and modeling.
Pragya began her career in modeling and appeared in over 100 advertisements before transitioning to acting. She made her Tamil film debut with Varalaru Mukkiyam (2022), followed by her Malayalam debut in Nadhikalil Sundari Yamuna (2023). Her performances have earned her recognition despite mixed reviews for some of her projects. She is also active on social media, with a significant following.
